So we decided to take last week off after going 4-1 in two of the previous 3 weeks.  Let's get the ball rolling this week with a pick from tonight's game! 

Most of you who decided to take the favorites last week in the NFL should have faired quite well.  We went 4-1 with our College and NFL picks, and hopefully you had a similar outting.  Here are our picks for this weekend's slate of games.

1. Texas -9.5 over Oklahoma State (Texas is scoring 41 ppg, so as long the defense can show up, this should be an easy cover)
2. Houston -6.5 over Southern Miss (Houston has been good, but this will be a test)
3. Cal -6.5 over Arizona State (Cal has been pathetic on the road the last few years, but that is history, and Cal covers)
4. NY Giants -1 over Philadelphia Eagles (This line started at +3 for NYG, so the big boys are betting hard on the Giants also)
5. St. Louis Rams and Detroit Lions under 44 (2 pathetic offenses equals a low scoring game)

Here we go again with another round of parlay picks for this weekend's games:

• Texas -12.5 over Missouri (I've heard both sides of this bet, but UT should be good)
• New Orlean Saints -6.5 over the Dolphins (my buddy likes this one, but I'm skeptical)
• Philly and Washington over 37  (look for a high scoring game...not sure why the over/under is so low)
• Indianapolis Colts -13 over St. Louis  (Good team pounds bad team, that is all you need to know)
• Bears +1.5 over Bengals  (Basically a pick game, so you be the judge)
