Francisco Liriano is currently riding one of the biggest professional baseball career roller coasters that could ever be imagined.  I remember back in 2006 drafting this guy and having to hang on, for what seemed an eternity, for the Twins to finally put him in the starting rotation.  Once there, the kid was lights out and with his mentor Johan Santana by his side, the world was good, and I was riding high in 2nd place in my fantasy league.  Liriano went 12-3 with a 2.16 ERA in 2006.  Then it all started to go down hill for both me and him.

Welcome back Verlander and CC

CC Gets on TrackCC Gets on TrackFantasy Baseball owners around the nation, and possibly world, are breathing a sigh of relief after yesterday's performances by two of the supposed top pitchers in MLB.  Verlander came into last night's matchup having given up no less than 4 runs in his previous 4 starts, and thus sported a nice 7.03 ERA.  If you think that ERA is high, CC came into last night with a 13.50 ERA!  That is absurd for a former Cy Young winner, and it has been killing my fantasy baseball team.  However, don't look at ERA alone, let's look at BABIP.
