Miami vs Wake Forest & Duke vs. Clemson ACC Picks

Jeff Teague is goooodJeff Teague is goooodWhat in the world am I doing talking about Basketball on National Signing Day for Football?  Well, we will come back to the signing day news, but we need to get you updated on the best conference in basketball...the ACC.  Forget about the Big East, stick with the tried and true ACC.

3 of the 4 top ACC teams are in action tonight, with Duke, Wake Forest and Clemson all representing.  Miami is the lone unranked team in the mix this evening, but don't count them out just yet.  Remember, they were ranked #17 to start the season, and if it weren't for a few recent close losses, they would still be in the fold.  So, let's get down to the real number and our picks for tonight.

LA Picks Big Monday (Connecticut @ Louisville and Kansas @ Baylor)

Groundhog sees his shadow today and says..."9 more weeks until the college basketball Championship game!"Groundhog sees his shadow today and says..."9 more weeks until the college basketball Championship game!"LA is picking 70% against the spread (ATS), when discounting alma mater picks, in 2009.  As this week’s Big Monday games don’t involve Pitt or Notre Dame (games in which I am 0-3), his picks are solid choices if looking for guidance this week.

Station airs porn instead of Super Bowl

Viewers in Tucson, Ariz., got an eyeful -- of male porn -- when they expected to be watching the Super Bowl on Sunday.

KVOA confirmed that about 10 seconds of pornographic video was fed to customers instead of the Super Bowl just after the Cardinals took a 23-20 lead in the fourth quarter. The incident appeared to have been isolated to Comcast customers.

"I just figured it was another commercial until I looked up," Cora King told the Arizona Daily Star. "Then he did his little dance with everything hanging out."

Free Superbowl Picks Pittsburgh vs Arizona

Howdy All,

Pittsburgh vs Arizona (+7)

Terrible Terrible Terrible. That is all I am hearing this week. Terrible towel this, terrible towel that. The Steelers are going to roll, and the Cardinals have no chance.  Lets examine some of the picks by the so called experts. How can you root for this guy?How can you root for this guy?Accurscore has the Steelers winning 27.1-20.6. I guess that is some lame calculation over 10,000 simulations. Mike Golic picked the towels, and so did Mortensen, Jaworski, and Hoge. Schlereth and Wickersham(who the f is he) are the only ones on ESPN to go with the Cardinals so far. USATODAYs coinflip experts picked Arizona to win this week though. hmmmm... The most shocking news though was that the main man Barack picked the Steelers. You see this is what I like about him. You may not like his policies, but the guy has heart and charisma. Most Presidents in the past would have been I hope to see a good game when asked who would win. President Obama in a press conference picked the freaking Steelers to win. How awesome is that. We actually have a President right now who is current, and not afraid to give his opinion on a sporting event. For that, you have to love him. Watch it below. ?http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Oe7Fw84Yv08. One thing I do want to see this Sunday though is the potential for the greatest TDPut a Super Bowl Ring on it!Put a Super Bowl Ring on it! celebration ever. The greatest dance ever would be if you're ahead in the game by a considerble margin and score a TD, I want to see the Beyonce dance. "Put a Ring On It" baby. How great would that be? Just go off and do the whole Timberlake thing. It would be classic and has true meaning in getting a Super Bowl ring. Do it for me Fitz. Please!!

Thursday Free NBA Picks - 1-29-08

Welcome back to where the free NBA picks are hot and heavy - whotobet.net!  Everybody is super hyped about Super Bowl weekend, but before you go making all those prop bets, you need to build up your bankroll.  Last week was a 2-for-2 week on my game analysis...but unfortunately the Lakers spread came in a few points higher than my prediction.  Hopefully you went with my overall advice and took the shining star that is Kobe.  Your betting dollar would have gone far!

So what's in store for us this week?  We have another huge Eastern Conference showdown, this time with Cleveland vs. Orlando, and a Western Conference battle of the 2005 titans, San Antonio vs. Phoenix.  On to the matchups...

Free Super Bowl Prop Bets

Howdy All,

We are back. I hate the one week off crap that the NFL pulls. I guess it was implemented it to make more money for the cities. I think it does more harm than good. It loses the momentum for the teams, fans, and the sport in general. Everyone gets bored with the week off, and the weekend before is just brutal. You go 17 weeks with football, and then you're stuck with nothing for a weekend. What kind of crap is that. Well the next few days we are going to be looking at some of the weirder prop bets that are out their for the big game. I think the prop bets are the best thing about Super Bowl. You can bet on anything, and it really takes the game to the next lever. So lets dive in and see what's cooking.

Irish fans prepare to start a new home winning streak tonightIrish fans prepare to start a new home winning streak tonightLA is undefeated in making non-“Big Monday” basketball picks this year…unfortunately, today is a Monday and I have yet to pick up a win in a Big Monday contest.  If nothing else, this demonstrates the power of selecting the right games based on personal knowledge instead of “forcing” picks based on a calendar.  Trying to beat Vegas on a regular basis is not for the faint of heart.

Thursday Free NBA Picks - 1-22-09

Welcome back to the lull that is Super Bowl media frenzy weeks!  So where are you gonna get your fix while the big bad NFL is on hiatus?  Whotobet.net!!  NBA!!  Free picks!!  Let's do it!  So much excitement, I can't take it.

Last week we had a nice 2-1 Thursday night, and a two OT games to peak the "fan interest" in all of us.  Too bad LeBron was feeling under the weather against Chicago.  He just couldn't dominate in the house of Jordan like I thought he would.  Oh well.  Live and learn, right?

This week, we only have two games, but each poses a dilemma in a different way.  Washington vs. Los Angeles is a mismatch.  Boston vs. Orlando is an Eastern Conference Final waiting to happen.  Either way you look at it, there's money to be had!  On to the matchups...
