Jay BruceJay BruceWe've all heard about him, or at least those in the know had, but anyone that follows fantasy baseball should know about him now.  Jay Bruce was a highly touted prospect for the Reds, and now he is a highly touted Major Leaguer.  Jay Bruce is so good, that someone in my fantasy league, which doesn't have a bench spot (don't get me started), actually picked up Bruce a few weeks ago and has been getting zero stats for his team since that time.  Lucky for him it was only a few weeks, but as he said..."the risk is worth the reward."

If last night is any indication, he is absolutely right...the risk is paying off, and immediately.  Bruce went 3 for 3, with 2 runs, 2 RBIs and a Stolen Base to boot.  The only thing he didn't do was hit a HR, which is what he is supposed to do.  In 49 games this year in AAA ball, he has 10 HRs and 8 SBs, but more amazing is that he is batting .364!  If this kid is somehow still available in your league, you are either in a very uneducated league, or the luckiest S.O.B. in the world.  DT wrote about him here on WhoToBet.net almost 2 weeks ago, so if you didn't get him then, then you only have yourself to blame.
