The world of football has started, but that doesn't mean we are going to abandon our MLB picks.  Tonight it's going to be the Diamondback versus the Dodgers, with Brandon Webb on the mound for Arizona, and Derek Lowe on the mound for the Dodgers.  Webb has been good all season, Lowe has been good in his last 4 outings.  Therefore, we are most likely looking at a pitchers duel.  On to our pick...

Los Angeles Dodgers +152 at Arizona Diamondbacks -167 

The Dodgers are huge underdogs in this one, and for good reason.  Although Lowe has been good in his recent outings, he is still no Brandon Webb, who has a sub 3 ERA this year.  My theory on his success is the fact that he distracts the players with his glove waggle on every pitch.  I mean, how can no coach from Little League up to the Majors not be able to get that out of his windup.  It's quite annoying, but I guess when you pitch like Webb, no one is going to change anything.  Hence, we are going with Webb tonight, as he and Diamonbacks should be able to easily handle Lowe and the Dodgers.
