Welcome to the fourth and final series of the Round 2 Playoffs. Boy, what a wake-up call the Celtics received this past week! Poor LeBron. Now he can't sneak up on Boston like Joe Johnson. Even the pathetic Doc can't mess up this one...can he? On to the matchup...
Series: Cleveland (4 seed) @ Boston (1 seed)
Well, with this matchup, we had a clean sweep of the 1 thru 4 seeds advancing. And it's looking even more likely that the 1 and 2 seeds will meet in the final. But just remember, it was the "top seed" of them all (Boston) that almost got the bump. So anything is possible. With that said, the Celtics learned their lesson last round. No one individual could guard Joe Johnson, so they went back to what got them the best record in the NBA...TEAM defense. I think KG more so than Doc Rivers will beat this message into every players' head before tomorrow's game against LeBron. Add to the fact that everyone saw how LeBron single handedly defeated Detroit last year...and it just adds up to too many tricks being placed on the table. Yes, it took four home victories for Boston to win in Round 1, but I still look to their NBA-best road recond for the season...an impressive 31-10 record. I think Round 1 was just a case of Boston getting a little too confident early on. That wake-up call will do them wonders.
Pick: Boston in 6
