Let’s just start out by saying that we are getting a little bit better with the picks. The NFL is not a game for the weak. Sometimes I feel like I would be better off just playing craps. The one thing we have to remember though is that the season is very long. So you fantasy players
WTF is Turf Toe??out there sweating LDT, if you just look at the totals last year after two games it will relieve the disgusting taste in your mouth or your toe. In case you were wondering- http://orthopedics.about.com/cs/toeproblems/a/toeproblems_5.htm. Now lets get started.
The Texans were forced to have their bye early last week with Ike paying a visit. The planet Houston is still feeling effects of the ‘cane and a lot of the local residents are still without power. I’m sure football is the latest thing from there mind, and lets again hope everyone is safe. The Texans looked aw
Schaub are you scared now?ful in their week 1 match up and again face a strout defense in Tennessee. Mr. Haynesworth is a monster and will eat up the Texans front line this week. Haynesworth even stated this week that Matt Schaub is scared of him. "I think he's just scared of us," Haynesworth said after that game. "Maybe next year he won't play against us. He'll just sit that game out." Will this motivate the Texans? I seriously doubt it and it will be fun watching Schaub run away and hide from Albert this week.
The Vikings are still wondering what happened last week against the Colts. Lets see, you kick 5 field goals and your QB is named Tavaris. Minnesota has replaced him with Gus and hopes he provides more consistency. The Panthers are 2-0 by squeaking out two wins. An added bonus for them is that they get a pissed off Steve Smith back. I like the passing game against the Vikings, and will look for them to score a lot through the air and forget about the run. Minnesota will try to become more balanced, but with a banged up Peterson it is not going to be enough.
The new game for the Chiefs is will they win a game this season. It doesn’t look good right now, after a blowout loss to the Raiders last week. The run defense of the Chiefs is in disarray, their QB is named Thigpen and LJ is losing goal line carries. Not good. Maybe we should just call him
The new QB for KC Pigpen. Michael Turner is licking his chops this week, and will look to run, run, run. The Chiefs gave up 300 yards rusing last week and will be no match for Turner. I wouldn’t recommend watching this game, but for you betters out there take the Birds and watch something else.
Jacksonville starts week 3 without a win. Indy was almost in the same boat but came back against the QB less Vikings. The line of the Jags is injured and they are having trouble running the ball with their two headed back. However Bob Sanders is out for the Colts and he is their main defense against the run. MJD gets it going this week and controls the clock. Peyton got out of his funk in the fourth quarter last week and got his team the victory. He just doesn't look like himself the last two games. Are we seeing the decline of a great one, or one still recovering from an injury? It will be close one as these two always seem to battle it out till the end. I just can’t see Jacksonville starting 0-3.
