Howdy Folks,
I am going to make this very brief this week such I am on Christmas vacation. So hurry up and read the picks below so you can get your Christmas shopping done. Fun Fun Fun. Tell the crowds hi for me.
Tampa Bay (-6) at San Francisco
The Niners may have find a QB that can kind of run some sort of an offense. They finally won a game last week, were the offense did look pretty good. However I think people are quick to forget that it was against the Bengals. They could make they Spears family even look good these days. I think with a week to prepare for the new QB the Bucs will handle them well, and the defense will stop Gore and Hill.
Green Bay (-9) at Chicago
I don't know if any of you say the Monday Night game this week, but it was a stinker. The Bears offense looked horrible and was able to score because of the many turnovers by the Vikings. The Packers are on a roll, and they still have homefield to fight for over a struggling Cowboy team. I look for Favre to pass a lot, and Grant to run the clock to cover the big lead. Take the magically season of Favre and the pack show this week.
N.Y. Giants at Buffalo (+3)
The Giants are in a must win situation here, and there is no way I trust them. I can't take Eli in this game, I can't. He has proven year in and year out that he can't win the must win game. His big receiver threat of Shockey is out too with a broken leg. I think the Bills keep this one close, and I am surprised that they aren't the team favored here.
Houston (+7) at Indy
The Texans have been an up and down team all year because of the injuries they have suffered. There is something about when the play the Colts near the end of the year. They always step it up, and play them close, with even winning the game last year with Carr at the helm. I think Indy might get up early, but will look to rest key players keeping the Texans in this one till the end.
