Free Super Bowl XLII Prop Bet picks Part 2

Here we go again with round two of our weekly Prop bets for the Super Bowl. I'll get the game later this week, but I am having too much fun with all the props out there.

1. Colour of liquid winning Head Coach is doused in ?

Transparent +400 Green +500 Yellow +300 Orange +125 Red +300 Blue +1000
Purple +1600

The good old gatorade toss on the coaches head. Do you know that a head coach has died from the Gatorade toss. Good old George Allen of Long Beach State suffered health consequences after his players dumped the juice on him. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/George_Allen_(football) You can read about it here. He was 72 years old, but still he says thats what made him sick. Poor fellow. Well in this bit I like good old water as the smart bet. I was watching superbowl highlights of old games, and I saw the transpearent stuff thrown on the coach, so I would go for that. Remeber to drink your 8 glasses a day too, or else you might end up like good old George Allen.

2. Who will the MVP of the Game thank first?

Teammates, 2:1
God, 5:2
Family, 2:1
Coach, 5:1
Doesn't thank anyone, 6:1

Hmmm, to answer this question we probably need to figure out who is going to win the MVP. In all but one superbowls the MVP has come from the winning team, so the safe bet is on the Pats winning on the 12.5 point spread. So that probably leaves, Brady, Moss, Maroney, Welker. If Moss or Welker have a big game, I think that means Brady has a big game too, and they like to favor the QB. My bets are that Brady or Maroney wins this. I am leaning to the QB though, unless somethign crazy happens like Eli throws 4 pics to the house to the Pats. Which could happen. Since Brady is a team player he will probably thank his teammates, and then God too. I think God has the better odds, but to be safe you may want to bet them both. You are getting 2:1 anyway.

3. Will Don Shula be on the field to shake Belichick's hand after the game?
Yes +200
No -300

Shula has come out in public and said he thinks the Pats cheated this year and is rooting heavily against them in the Super Bowl. For him to suck up his pride and shake Belichick's hand on the field would be pretty big for the grumpy old man. For some reason I think Shula will still hold a grudge and refuse to admit the Pats went undeafted fair and square. I think we will see him foaming at the mouth drunk, and shouthing things like "We didn't cheat", "Where is the asterisk?", "Belichick works for the Devil!" before we see him shake his hand on the field.
