Thursday night has quickly become a showcase for many programs looking to become a nationally known football school.  Rutgers took full advantage of this last year, and we can all remember the Rutgers win when the Kicker pointed at the skycam.  However exciting that game was, tomorrow night's matchup won't be nearly as fun, unless you are betting on it of course.  On to the matchup.

North Carolina +5.5 at Rutgers -5.5 

Rutgers is not the same Rutgers as last year, so don't expect that from them.  However, UNC is pretty much still a basketball school, and will continue to be for the time being.  In their first game, UNC played Mcneese State and somehow managed to only come away with an 8 point victory in a 35-27 victory.  How does a team give up 27 points to McNeese State??  I can't even tell you what the McNeese State mascot is for crying out loud.  On the other hand, they did get the win, which is more than we can say for Rutgers.

Rutgers only managed to get 7 points on the board against the "fake" FSU, as in Fresno State.  Grant it, Fresno State is a top 25 team this year, which I question, but that is another story.  However, this could have really set the tone for the Rutgers team this year with a big opening win, but all it has done is left some doubts.  The good news for us bettors out there though is that they are only favored by 5.5 at home.  Thursday night at Home for Rutgers has been a blessing for them, and I don't expect that to change against a team that gave up 27 point to McNeese State.  Take the Favorite.
