Nevada has lost a lot of close games this year (excluding the first week), which is probably why this game has such a low spread for an undefeated team versus an unranked team. If Brennan learned anything from last night watching Dixon go down, it's that his opportunity has come to make a name for himself and try to take the Heisman trophy. Expect an absolute ton of scoring in this one, but go with the Rainbow Warriors.
Yes I'm still kickin'. Gotta tell ya though, my pride, and
my wallet are both hurt! I really can't complain, I've
withdrawn more from my acct. lately than deposited,
but last night crushed me. Since I'm a glutton
for punishment, and today is payday, here we go again.
Here is what has been killing me this week....logic...
I know there is none in sports, especially college. When
I go from the gut, I hit more than miss...but logic get's in my
way.You know, these ranked teams this year have not risen to the
occasion, none of them! BC, Ohio st, Kentucky,West Virginia,
LSU, and now Oregon! My logic was, hey, these games are
huge! They will rise to the occasion, but they have all gone flat.
Now with that said, am I going to pick from the gut tonight, well
No! Iam going with logic, because 20 years of wagering tells
me the Odds are in my favor, to think that logically Hawaii should "rise"
to the occasion. And logic tells me this game will go under because
Hawaii can ,at times play tough defense. I am on a mission to build up
my acct. again and put some dinero in the bank!!!! Don't get me wrong I
realize upsets happen...but come on guys..."RISE TO THE OCCASION"
You can't really blame yourself for last night. Dixon got hurt, plain and simple. Before he got hurt he was 5-8 passing for 62 yards, and had a 40 yard for a TD...and all of this in the 1st quarter. If he stays in you would have won.
Looks like the O/U has dropped from 79 to 76. I guess Vegas had to correct for an upcoming missed FG in this game.
