Memphis' Derrick RoseHere we are, all waiting for that one thing that every fan loves to talk about and looks forward to every year.  There have been bad ones, good ones, and everything in between, but nonetheless, you will have your eyes glued to the TV tonight to watch.  Wait...I'm not talking about the game, I'm talking about "One Shining Moment."  Of course, before we get to that point we have to crown a new champion in Men's College Basketball. If you are wondering who I am going to pick in tonight's matchup, perhaps the picture above may give you a little heads up.  On to the matchup...

It's showtime!  History has been made, and now we are set with basically the best Final Four in the history of the tournament.  No other Final Four group has had such a high win percentage, and you'd be hard pressed to find a more talented overall group.  Of course, you'd have to expect this type of scenario seeing at is the first time that all four #1 seeds made it, but they all made it here in slightly different fashions.  Let's get on to the Matchups...

Two tickets have been punched to San Antonio.  Actually, you know what, I hate that phrase.  Let's just say that two teams have made it to the Final Four, and they did it in impression fashion.  First, UCLA absolutely dominated in their matchup with Xavier.  I had been betting against Xavier all tournament long, and as soon I switch to their favor, they burn me.  In the other matchup, North Carolina dominated, but had to hold off a 2nd half surge that brought an eleven point lead down to nothing.  Fortunately for them, Hansbrough stepped up again and took control.  The guy is already the second leading scorer in UNC history as a Junior!  Rumor has it he has already signed paperwork for his house for next year which means he'll come back for his senior year, but let's wait and see.  So, let's get on to today's matchups.

The Elite 8 is here, and we've definitely have some great matchups for today.  We thought we had some good matchups yesterday, but it was blowout city for most of the games, which is quite disappointing as a fan.  However, the spreads are only 6.5 for each of the games tonight, so let's find out who will cover.  On to the matchups...

It seems like an eternity since the last games were played on Sunday.  Many articles have been written analyzing the why and how some teams won (Western Kentucky, Davidson, Villanova) and how some teams lost (Duke, Pitt, Georgetown).  All in all, it doesn't really matter, as what matters is what you do on the court.  And if the games from last week (Stanford, UCLA, WKU) are any indication of what is going to happen this weekend, then we are set for a fun ride.  On to the matchups...

The round of 32 started off with a bang and an upset.  West Virginia upended Duke, sending them packing before the Sweet 16 for the second straight year.  There was only one more upset the rest of the day, but there was defiinitely a scare for #1 UCLA as they somehow managed to come back and beat Texas A&M.  Will there be any big upsets in the second part of the round of 32, let's find out.

Butler versus Tennessee (-5)
Butler is a good team, and have shown their worth the last couple of years in the tournament.  However, they are facing a team that I consider to be the best #2 seed in the tournament.  With only a 5 point spread, I'm going to have to go with the Vols in this one.
