College football fans were left in complete shock this weekend as Michigan, who was ranked #5 in the preseason polls, became the first ranked team to lose to a Division 1-AA school. Actually, they are no longer called Division 1-AA for some reason. Appalachian State University is located in Boone, NC, and unless you know someone that went there or used to go on vacations up there like myself, you probably have never heard of it...that is until you heard the thud as Michigan's last Field Goal attempt was blocked, thus securing ASU's victory. Either way, this was one of those games that will go down in the history books as one of the largest upsets ever...to bad there wasn't a betting line on it.
